Penn is pleased to be collaborating with Hysitron Inc. on the operation and development of in situ nanomechanical tools for TEM. We have a PI-95 Picoindentor under active use, and are interacting with Hysitron to develop novel operation modes and new capabilities including a planned 3D indentor for tribology studies.

The NCF is providing characterization and fabrication services as part of the collaboration between Solvay, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and one of our parent organizations, the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter (LRSM).
